How we prepare for TAKS

A. We teach TEKS

Teaching the TEKS is the only one thing will ensure success for every student on the TAKS.

B. Mock Testing We test students periodically. Testing is the most effective way to see their weaknesses and strengths. Based on their performance, we place students to different level classes. For low scored students tutorial sessions are mandatory.

C. Objective-Based Testing Objective-based practice tests are given to students in each subject area. We analyze results obtained from these practice tests to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of individual students in each specific objective.

D. Tutorials We start tutoring needy students from the beginning of the year. Tutorials are mandatory for low scored students and given during and after schools and Saturdays by volunteer teachers and tutors.

E. We Use Technology For students we provide online testing TMDS (Texas Mathematics Diagnostic Assessment System) on "Computer based Math" classes. Mock and objective-based test results are scanned and analyzed by powerful software which gives online reports and graphs for parents.
